The Innkeeper and the Fugitive

After nearly a decade in the army, Hamish Campbell aims to reclaim his family estate, Dalmore House, which was seized after the '45 uprising. To achieve this, he seeks work at a nearby inn to gain the favor of the estate's overseer while navigating the estate's debts. Meanwhile, Ava MacMorran escapes her father's threats and attempts to reach a friend's home, only to be mistakenly identified as an inn servant. As their lives intertwine, both are unaware of each other's true identities, leading to deepening relationships amidst the looming threat of discovery.
