Death in a Blackout

In the midst of World War II, Rector's daughter Wilhelmina Harkness, yearning to serve her country, defies her mother's wishes by leaving her village for Hull, where she reinvents herself as Billie. On her first night in the city, she unexpectedly finds herself amidst an air raid and discovers the body of a glamorous woman, prompting her to seek justice.
