A Merciful Death

FBI special agent Mercy Kilpatrick, a lifelong prepper, returns to her rural hometown of Eagle’s Nest, Oregon, to assist in a series of murders targeting local survivalists by a predator known as the cave man. Haunted by a past tragedy that forced her away, Mercy must navigate the tension with her estranged family while concealing her survivalist skills from the community and local police chief Truman Daly, whose uncle was one of the victims. As the investigation unfolds, she grapples with secrets that could endanger her life.
