The Tragedy of X

In the early 1930s, a man is mysteriously poisoned on a crowded New York City streetcar, leaving Inspector Thumm with scant clues to find the elusive killer. As he delves into the case, he turns to Drury Lane, a retired Shakespearean actor and talented amateur detective, for assistance. Seated in his grand castle, Drury Lane quickly identifies the murderer but insists on gathering enough evidence before disclosing the identity, setting the stage for an intriguing investigation.
