The Face

In Jack Vance's classic space opera series, Kirth Gersen, an orphaned child turned avenger, is on a relentless quest for vengeance against the five intergalactic criminal masterminds known as the Demon Princes. The fourth Prince, Lens Larque, known for his lethal pranks and criminal activities, escapes to his home world of Dar Sai, which features bizarre mating rituals and intense competitions. Gersen pursues him to the calmer planet of Methel, where Larque's next sinister plot unfolds, but Gersen's intentions are far more lethal.
