Sea Change

In January 1721, amid the chaos of the South Sea Bubble scandal, penniless mapmaker William Spandrel is offered a chance to clear his debts by Sir Theodore Janssen, a director of the collapsed South Sea Company. To achieve this, he must secretly deliver an important package to Ysbrand de Vries in Amsterdam. However, after completing the delivery, Spandrel finds himself entangled in danger when an attempt on his life occurs, leading to him being accused of de Vries's murder.
