The Bible Jesus Read

In The Bible Jesus Read, Philip Yancey invites listeners to reconsider the significance of the Old Testament, countering the common belief that the New Testament holds more value. Through his personal reflections, Yancey reveals the complexities and rewards of engaging with the Hebrew Scriptures, illustrating how figures like Moses and the prophets enrich our understanding of God. By reconnecting the Old and New Testaments, he emphasizes that a deeper appreciation for the Scriptures Jesus cherished leads to a more profound comprehension of Christ and His teachings.
