In 1996 Long Beach, California, bartender Dom Reilly embarks on an unexpected journey as an investigator for the Freedom Agenda, a not-for-profit justice project. Tasked with reopening a 12-year-old homicide case of a murdered teenage girl, Dom and his boss, Lydia Gonzales, face formidable challenges as they uncover new DNA evidence that could exonerate the imprisoned suspect, Danny Osborne.
