Death and Déjà Vu

In "The Esprit de l'Air," Richard Ainsworth's quiet life in rural France is abruptly disrupted when he is elected mayor of the small town of Saint-Sauver. To recover from the shock, he is sent to a prestigious health spa on an island fort, chosen by his adventurous business partner, Valérie d'Orçay. However, a strange and hostile group of guests and a dramatic first night turn Richard's stay upside down, particularly as he recalls unsettling similarities to a past experience when a body unexpectedly appears.
