Cinco de Mayo

In "Almost Official," the kids of the Neighborhood Watch are eagerly awaiting their transition to Hero Academy, where they aspire to become superheroes. However, their plans are shaken when police officers fatally shoot an unarmed black man, and Annalisa, known as La Capitána, captures the incident on video. As protests erupt and tensions rise, the fourteen-year-olds rally to maintain peace in their community, even as chaos draws the attention of two supervillains. They must navigate their moral compass in the midst of escalating violence to protect their hometown.
