On Christmas Eve in 1957, a pilot flying home from Germany in a Vampire jet faces an unexpected crisis when fog envelops the North Sea, cutting off radio contact and causing his compass to malfunction. As he navigates this perilous situation, a WWII bomber emerges from the mist, seemingly attempting to make contact.
