Poisoned Love

On November 6, 2000, paramedics responded to a distress call from Kristin Rossum, who claimed her husband, Greg de Villers, had overdosed on drugs after she revealed her intent to leave him. However, doubts arose among family and friends regarding her narrative, especially given Rossum's position as a talented toxicologist in the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. Further investigation uncovered her involvement in an affair and missing narcotics from the office, unraveling the façade of the seemingly innocent "good girl" and leading to shocking revelations about the true nature of her husband's death.
