Scarlet Ibis

Twelve-year-old Scarlet navigates a challenging life marked by her mother's struggles with depression and her younger brother Red's dependence on her due to his Asperger's. Deeply invested in nurturing Red's love for birds, she dreams of taking him to Trinidad to see his favorite, the Scarlet Ibis. However, their world is turned upside down when a dangerous incident leads to their placement in foster care, separating them.
