In "Now a Minister of Hell," Lady Jing finds herself bored in yin Shanghai and longs for a getaway with her mortal beau, Tony Lee. When an Irish deity arrives in need of help, Jing seizes the opportunity to travel to Paris with Tony and her friends, Gigi and Ah Lang, hoping for a fun holiday. However, their journey quickly spirals into chaos as vampires hijack their train, forcing Jing to confront conflicting loyalties between her birth family and the chosen family she has grown to love.
