In "Taco Sauce," Riley McConnell, a public health major at the University of Texas, navigates life in San Antonio while living with her aunt and uncle after her mother’s passing. Struggling with her finances and seeking independence, she finds her part-time job selling tacos at the mall challenging. Meanwhile, Zander Bennett, a veteran recovering from injuries sustained in the Middle East, begins to sense something ominous during Halloween in the food court when he spots a suspicious character amidst the festive crowd. Caught between his instincts and his mental state, he faces a dilemma about whether to protect Riley or question his own sanity.
