Piper Perez dreams of being a superhero despite lacking any superpowers, instead immersing herself in the lore and memorabilia of Bigtime, New York's heroes and villains. As a self-proclaimed "fandemic," her passion for superheroes intensifies when a murderer begins targeting both heroes and villains, leading her to confront the tragic death of a friend. With the unsettling possibility that her ex, the fast-paced hero Swifte, could be the next victim, Piper must rely on her extensive knowledge to protect him and help bring the killer to justice.
