In the midst of World War I, Petra Kurková, a witch with the unique ability to capture souls on film, ventures through the war-torn streets while her husband fights on the eastern front. Her talents draw the attention of Josef Svoboda, who enlists her in a team of sorcerers to combat dark, resurrected forces unleashed by the horrors of combat. As they journey into the cursed Carpathian Mountains, Petra must confront deep secrets and harness her concealed magic to uncover her husband's fate and protect a world on the brink of destruction.
