WaR: Wizards and Robots

In "Wizards and Robots" by will.i.am and Brian David Johnson, Ada Luring's life is turned upside down when a young man named Geller breaks into her home, claiming she is in danger. As a wizard pursued by a clandestine clan, Geller teams up with Ada and her scientist mother, Sara, who is on the brink of creating the first robot—the wizards' ancient adversaries. With a robot sent back in time to protect Ada, the trio must unite to alter the past and stave off an impending threat to Earth, but time is running out.
