In a world ravaged by the goddess Corvynne's relentless conquest, hope seems lost as every prophecy declares her unbeatable. However, when the goddess Artemisen selects Soli Graymind—a seemingly insignificant individual battling chronic depression—to lead a final quest, expectations are low. Alongside her are five equally flawed companions: a nameless thief, a pastless noble, a hopeless sorcerer, a morally ambiguous warrior, and a prince without a kingdom.
