Parish Priest

In "Parish Priest," authors Douglas Brinkley and Julie M. Fenster delve into the life of Father Michael McGivney, an American parish priest who founded the Knights of Columbus in response to the discrimination faced by American Catholics in the late 1800s. This organization has since grown to 1.7 million members and continues to embody McGivney's enduring legacy of family values and hope. The audiobook explores McGivney's dynamic personality and the ongoing process of his canonization, which may see him become the first American-born parish priest to be declared a saint by the Vatican.
