A Comedian Walks into a Funeral Home

Vince Locker's life takes a desperate turn after his comedy act fails, leaving him facing foreclosure and estranged from his family. Just as he contemplates suicide on Smith Avenue Bridge, he's rescued by a mortician named Truss and introduced to Winona, another of Truss's unique rescues. Together, they embark on an unconventional venture providing comedic eulogies for the deceased, leading Vince into a chaotic underworld filled with life insurance scams, dark humor, and personal revelations as he confronts his own past and the mystery of a murdered young woman.
