The Spanish Bow

In a dusty, turn-of-the-century Catalan village, young Feliu Delargo's journey begins with a cello bow that leads him from his home to anarchist Barcelona and the court in Madrid, where he explores love and music. Alongside his friend and rival, the piano prodigy Justo Al-Cerraz, Feliu navigates the tumultuous landscape of war-torn Spain, clashing over women and political beliefs. Their lives become even more complicated with the arrival of Italian violinist Aviva, prompting a final, dangerous collaboration. Inspired by the life of Pablo Casals, The Spanish Bow reflects on the interplay between art and conscience during the Spanish Civil War and World War II.
