Stop Dead

Detective-in-training Sigurdís returns to Iceland from the US to confront the aftermath of her father's death investigation being dropped, only to find herself embroiled in a murder case. During the Reykjavík Marathon, controversial TV personality Olga Einars is brutally killed, prompting Sigurdís and her partner Unnar to track down a runner connected to the crime. As they delve into Olga's checkered past, they uncover a web of animosity from those around her, forcing Sigurdís to confront both the dark legacy of her father and the lengths to which someone will go to conceal the truth.
