The Iron Codex

In "The Iron Codex," the sequel to "The Midnight Front," David Mack brings the Dark Arts series to the Cold War era, where magic and espionage intertwine. Set in 1954, the story follows Cade Martin, a World War II hero haunted by his past, Briet Segfrunsdóttir, who oversees a secret magickal warfare program in the U.S., and Anja Kernova, who is on a quest to unearth fugitive Nazi sorcerers using a powerful tome known as the Iron Codex. As Anja becomes the target of both allies and enemies, a chance encounter ignites a race against time, culminating in a dramatic showdown during the Castle Bravo nuclear test at Bikini Atoll.
