The House in the Woods

On Christmas Eve, DCI Mackenzie Jones investigates a shooting at a remote farmhouse, where a festive family gathering has turned into a scene of four murders. Initially pointing to a murder-suicide involving Ralph Mallender's brother, the case quickly grows more complex as new evidence emerges, suggesting the potential involvement of the very man who reported the crime. Complicating matters further, private investigator Atticus Priest, hired to defend Ralph, seeks weaknesses in Mack's findings, leading to an unpredictable clash between their intertwined pasts and their current adversarial roles.
