Peer Gynt

"Peer Gynt," a five-act romantic play in verse by Henrik Ibsen, follows the journey of the titular character, a charming yet reckless rogue inspired by a Norwegian folk hero. After disrupting a wedding and embarking on a series of misadventures worldwide, Peer ultimately returns to Norway an embittered man. However, it is the enduring love of Solveig that offers him a chance at redemption. This widely performed play explores themes of love, identity, and the quest for meaning.
