Assassin John Rain is drawn back into a dangerous world when he discovers his former lover, Midori, has been raising their child in New York. As enemies begin to close in on them, Rain must confront his past and harness his deadly skills to protect his family, teaming up with unlikely allies including a former nemesis from the Japanese FBI and a skilled Marine sniper.
