Ella and the Beast

In a hidden corner of Washington State, Ella, the last of a secretive human lineage, navigates life cautious of the legendary Others—shape-shifting beings that once coexisted with humans. Ty Bearclaw, a grizzly-shifter and curator at the Washington State Animal Sanctuary, is drawn to the Olympic Mountain National Park after a rancher reports an unusual animal causing trouble. His discovery of Ella, who has been trapped and believed extinct, ignites a fierce protective instinct within him, even as danger looms from both a shifter intent on capturing her and the government threatening her freedom.
