South of Darkness

In late 1700s London, thirteen-year-old orphan Barnaby Fletch navigates a treacherous life filled with peril and deception. Eager to escape his circumstances, he plots to commit a crime that will send him to the legendary Botany Bay, entailing harrowing experiences in Newgate Prison and aboard a prison ship. However, upon arrival, he discovers that this so-called paradise is far from what he envisioned, leading him to confront both his past and present in a gripping tale of courage and survival.
