The Reluctant Matador

When 19-year-old aspiring model Bart Denum goes missing in Paris, her father enlists the help of his old friend Hugo Marston, the security chief at the American Embassy. As Marston delves deeper, he uncovers that Bart was actually a dancer at a strip club and had fled to Barcelona with a man she met there. Joined by former CIA agent Tom Green, Marston's investigation takes a dark turn when they find Bart’s father at the scene of a murder, leading to a race against time to clear his name, find the missing girl, and unmask the real killer amidst the city's complex underbelly.
