The Dark Edge of Night

In winter 1940, as Nazi occupation transforms Paris into a grim landscape, Police Inspector Henri Lefort is thrust into a tense investigation by the Gestapo regarding the disappearance of Dr. Viktor Brandt, a neurologist linked to a secret project. At the same time, he struggles to solve a murder case that appears to be a botched burglary, only to find disturbing connections between the victims that could incur the wrath of the Third Reich.
