This collection of tales, originally published in Analog between 1990 and 2011, follows the eccentric adventures of Rhys Llewellyn, a kilt-wearing anthropologist, archaeologist, and xenologist, along with his capable assistants, Yoshi Umeki and Roderick Halfax. Combining elements of archaeology, first contact scenarios, and Scottish culture, these stories reflect the author's personal fascinations.
