Flight of the Grey Goose

Fifteen-year-old Smiler is on the run, seeking to evade the police until his father returns to prove his innocence in a crime he didn't commit. While hiding out in Scotland, he takes a job as an animal caretaker at a castle owned by Sir Alec Elphinstone. When the Laird departs for London, Smiler uncovers a plot by thieves intending to invade the castle, leaving him faced with a difficult decision: should he risk seeking help from the authorities?
