Tamam Shud: A Phryne Fisher Mystery

In 1948, Phryne Fisher, a former member of the French Resistance, moves to Australia seeking peace but is soon drawn into a mystery when a handsome man's body is discovered on Somerton Beach. With police unable to identify him or determine the cause of death, Phryne finds a cryptic clue—a scrap of paper that reads "TAMAM SHUD" and a coded message from a torn book. Recognizing her detective prowess, WPC Hammond calls upon Phryne to unravel this intriguing case, enlisting the help of her old friend Bernard Cooper, who has experience with codes from his time at Bletchley during the war.
