On their way home from the Kudou family villa, Miyo and Kiyoka face a dangerous ambush by Naoshi Usui, who claims to be Miyo's father and poses a threat to her safety. To protect her, Kiyoka insists that Miyo stay with him at work and assigns a female soldier, Kaoruko, as her bodyguard. Despite initial tension due to Kaoruko's past as one of Kiyoka's marriage candidates, the two women begin to develop a friendship, all while a hidden threat looms over Miyo's safety.
