Soul Dog

In this thought-provoking exploration, award-winning journalist Elena Mannes shares her journey of discovery following a near-fatal car crash that led her to adopt a dog named Brio. As she uncovers the depths of Brio's intelligence and spirit, Mannes investigates the possibilities of interspecies communication and animal spirituality, consulting psychics and scientists along the way. The narrative spans Brio's entire life and even his messages posthumously, prompting listeners to reconsider their relationship with animals as sentient, spiritual beings connected to humans in profound ways.
