Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, born on October 15, 1931, is celebrated as one of India’s foremost scientists, notably for his role in developing the nation's first satellite launch vehicle, the SLV-3. As Chairman of The Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council, he was instrumental in creating the Technology Vision 2020 document aimed at propelling India into a developed nation. Kalam served in key positions at the Indian Space Research Organisation and the Defence Research & Development Organisation, ultimately becoming the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government. He has received numerous accolades, including the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, and Bharat Ratna, and has dedicated much of his life to inspiring over 500,000 children across India with his vision for the country.
