Kappa

In Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s enchanting final work, Kappa, a madman in a lunatic asylum narrates his surreal journey after stumbling upon a Kappa during a hike in Kamikochi. As he chases this fantastical creature, he tumbles into its world, where he discovers an unconventional society that mirrors and critiques human morals, justice, and social norms.
