Countdown to D-Day

In December 1943, as the Allies prepare for an invasion of Europe, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel is tasked with evaluating the readiness of the Atlantic Wall defenses. Meanwhile, his superior, Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt, is disillusioned with the Nazi regime and awaits the impending Allied assault from his comfortable home. On the ground in Normandy, General Erich Marcks faces significant obstacles in bolstering defenses with limited resources, convinced that his sector will be the focal point for the invasion, despite the disinterest of higher command.
