As the Conover family embarks on a road trip from L.A. to Chicago, they find themselves haunted by a mysterious presence. Nine-year-old Michael and his sister Alison both encounter unsettling figures—Michael sees a face in the car window, while Alison spots eerie children at a motel. A relentless woman and her children seem to follow them, embodying an otherworldly strength that leaves the Conovers in a state of confusion and fear, as they slowly come to understand that they are being hunted.
