The Stowmarket Mystery or a Legacy of Hate

Reginald Brett, a barrister and amateur detective, takes on the challenging case of David Hume-Frazer, who finds himself entangled in suspicion surrounding the murder of his cousin, Alan. Despite never being convicted, David seeks to clear his name before marrying his fiancée, Helen Layton. The mystery deepens with the bizarre circumstances of Alan's death, as he was killed with a Japanese knife on his own property, in the same spot where four of his ancestors mysteriously perished.
