On August 8, 1914, the Endurance, a wooden icebreaker, embarked on a historic journey to achieve the first trans-Antarctic expedition amid the outbreak of World War One. However, the ship encounters disaster in the Weddell Sea, becoming trapped in ice and drifting uncontrollably for months. The crew ultimately makes a daring escape to Elephant Island, where they face relentless cold and starvation.
