The Runner

In this gripping tale set in Hugh Howey's world of Wool, Ace and a team of divers race against time to prevent disaster as the Great Flood threatens their underground silo home. After a devastating accident claims the life of someone he loves, Ace grapples with despair and the realization that his radical ideas for saving their community might be dismissed as too dangerous. Facing rejection from those in authority, he must confront a critical question: why should he risk everything to save people reluctant to help themselves?
