At a secluded South Atlantic research station, cannon fire erupts as Argentinian forces initiate a rapid assault on the Antarctic peninsula, aiming to claim its valuable resources. The USS Cunningham, a lone US Navy destroyer, finds itself outmatched and vulnerable in these perilous waters. Yet, the Cunningham is no typical warship, and her Commander is anything but ordinary.
