In a hidden attic laboratory, Guyard faces the daunting task of awakening the enormous part-human war machine, Zurk, to save Marene from impending doom. With only two weeks remaining before the malevolent creatures from the Land of Darkness arrive, Guyard's desperation intensifies as he implores the seemingly lifeless steel giant to respond.
