Saint Faustina Kowalska

Born Helena Kowalska in 1905 to a poor Polish family, she felt a divine calling at age 19 to enter a convent in Warsaw, enduring multiple rejections before finally being accepted. Taking the name Faustina, she devoted her life to her faith until her death in 1938. Her significance arose from profound revelations, most notably her vision of Jesus with rays of white and red emanating from his heart, leading her to urge the creation of a painting bearing the message "Jesus, I trust in you."
