After surrendering the djinni Mermeros, Maeve Merrit anticipates a dull existence in London, but her world quickly turns chaotic when her friend Tommy goes missing alongside his new adoptive father, who attempts to use a wish. Determined to save them both from the clutches of danger, Maeve, Tommy, and their friend Alice embark on a magical adventure filled with peril and flying carpetbags.
