In the quaint town of Crozet, Virginia, post-mistress Mary Minor "Harry" Haristeen navigates the challenges of a pending divorce and a penchant for snooping through postcards. When a series of murders rocks the close-knit community, each victim receives an eerie postcard, prompting Harry to investigate. Unbeknownst to her, her clever pets, Mrs. Murphy the tiger cat and Tucker the Welsh Corgi, are already on the trail of clues, eager to protect their human friend from becoming the next target. As tensions rise, the race to uncover the killer intensifies, with Harry oblivious to the danger closing in.
