The Sea, the Sea

Charles Arrowby, a prominent figure in England's theater scene, retreats to a secluded seaside home to pen a memoir about his passionate love affair with his mentor, Clement Makin, while keeping the actress Lizzie in his life. However, his plans take unexpected turns as a series of strange events and unanticipated visitors—both real and spectral—intrude upon his solitude, challenging his sense of self and unraveling his grandiose ego.
