The Monster in the Lake

Kit, the youngest wizard with a knack for mishaps, struggles with her unpredictable magic as strange events unfold around her, including talking animals and explosive fireballs. Joined by her friends Alita and Josh, along with Faith the librarian, they embark on a quest to uncover the source of this wild magic. Their adventure leads them to a Scottish loch, where they're challenged by an eco-conscious wizard and grumpy mermaids, ultimately discovering that the stakes are higher than they anticipated and that teamwork is essential to restore order.
